Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risks, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnification Agreement
By entering the dog sport event hosted by Renegade Active Dogs ("Event Organizer"), participants acknowledge, appreciate, and agree to the following terms:

1. Acknowledgment of Risks
Participants acknowledge that the participation in the dog sport event that involves the dog chasing an artificial lure operated by Renegade Active Dogs is a high-energy physical activity that poses inherent risks which may be beyond the control of the Event Organizer. These risks may include, but are not limited to, injury from:

High-energy activity participation,

Dog-dog or dog-human conflicts,

Entanglement with string line from the lure coursing machine,
-
The potential for dogs escaping the controlled area,

Risks associated with outdoor activities, including uneven terrain that may lead to slips, trips, and falls.
Participants attest that they have freely chosen to participate in the event fully understanding that their participation involves these and other risks.
2. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to the following responsibilities:

To fully accept and understand the inherent risks associated with the dog sport event.

To ensure and take full responsibility for their dog's good behavior, and maintain control during the event.

To acknowledge that a good recall is recommended to swiftly and adequately respond in case of dog escape.

To adhere to all safety guidelines and rules set forth by the Event Organizer during the event.

To utilize the equipment provided by Renegade Active Dogs responsibly and ensure appropriate supervision of their dog at all times.

To consent to take full responsibility and seek immediate veterinary care should their dog suffer any injury during the event.
3. Waiver and Release of Liability
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the dog sport event, participants expressly waive, release, and discharge Renegade Active Dogs, its agents, employees, volunteers, and other representatives from any and all claims arising from or related to any injury, loss, or damage that might occur as a result of their participation in the event.
4. Indemnification
Participants agree to hold harmless, defend, and indemnify Renegade Active Dogs from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including attorney fees, the cost of enforcing any right to indemnification hereunder and the cost of pursuing any insurance providers, incurred by or awarded against Renegade Active Dogs arising out or resulting from any claim of a third party related to the participants' involvement in the dog sport event.
5. Consent and Acceptance of Terms
By entering the event, participants are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions stipulated in this waiver. Participants further agree that any legal action related to their participation in the dog sport event shall be resolved solely in the jurisdiction where the event premises are located.

This document is legally binding and considered agreed upon by the participant upon entry into the event premises. Any questions or concerns should be addressed with the Event Organizer prior to event participation.
